ISO 9001:2015
– we are group-certified!
ERC.D GmbH, as an independent railway undertaking (EVU), carries out approval, test, and transfer runs.
Always in focus: long-term customer relationships and satisfied employees.
These are two of our four permanent quality objectives.
The others are: revenue profitability, supplier evaluation, and the recruitment of qualified personnel.
What does quality mean?
According to the standard DIN EN ISO 9000:2015-11 (the applicable standard for quality management), quality is defined as the “degree to which a set of inherent characteristics of an object fulfils requirements.” Quality therefore indicates the extent to which a product (goods or services) meets existing requirements.
And why is quality management necessary?
Quality management comprises all measures for planning, controlling, and optimizing processes based on predefined requirements.Qualitätsmanagement umfasst alle Maßnahmen zur Planung, Steuerung und Optimierung von Prozessen anhand vorgegebener Anforderungen. The goal of quality management is to improve the quality of a product or service and thus increase customer satisfaction.
What corporate policy does ERC.D pursue?
- Partnership at eye level
- Our employees – our drive
- Acting efficiently and sustainably
- Responsibility for the environment and the future
The quality management system is part of the integrated management system, in which the safety management system is the leading system. The structure of the chapters and folders is therefore based on DELVO 2018/762, but always includes a reference to the corresponding chapter of ISO 9001.
Our processes are divided into four process levels:
Management processes – performance processes – support processes – improvement processes
But what are processes?
In this context, business processes are defined as “processes aimed at the long-term success of the organization.” ISO 9001 classifies processes for management activities, the provision of resources, product realization, measurement, analysis, and improvement.
A process or process description is intended to create a clear “picture” of a workflow that simply and understandably shows what individual people in the company have to do, how their activities are interconnected, who is responsible, which documents or work instructions should be used, and what is essential for fulfilling its purpose.
